USA-Grenada Halftime Thoughts

1-0 US at the half. The game has pretty much gone as expected, with the Americans carrying the vast majority of the play. The US already has 11 corner kicks, and the shots are 17-3. For all their dominance, the US weren't able to break through until stoppage time, with a nice DaMarcus Beasley header. Grenada has played hard and bunkered resolutely. They haven't even bothered with the offside trap, been dangerous on several counters, and they've blocked more shots than the Tampa Bay Lightning. Still, with better shooting by the US, the series could already be out of reach.

Look for more of the same in the 2nd half. I'm sticking with my prediction.
